Ragnarson Tennvall G., Norlin J.M., Malmberg I., Erlendsson A.M. and Hædersdal M.

This observational study investigated the Health Related Quality of Life in patients with Actinic Keratosis (AK); a common skin condition that may progress to non-melanoma skin cancer. A total of 312 patients completed disease-specific and generic Quality of Life questionnaires: Actinic Keratosis Quality of Life Questionnaire (AKQoL), Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), and EQ-5D-5L. Patients with severe actinic damage reported more impairment in HRQoL than patients with mild disease. The results suggests that the included measures are complementary as they measure different aspects of quality of life and are useful for different purposes.
