About cookies
According to the law on Electronic Communication (July, 2003) all visitors to a website need to be informed if cookies are used and how they can be blocked.

A cookie is a little file which the website you visit saves on your computer. Cookies are used on many websites to provide a visitor with access to various functions. There are two kinds of cookies. One kind saves a file on your computer for a long time. The other kind of cookie is called a session cookie and are not stored for a long time on your computer, but disappear when you close your web browser.

Processing of personal data
Personal data includes all types of information which directly or indirectly can be associated with a living natural person.

IHE processes personal data submitted to the website in the following cases; orders for informationmaterial and publications; subscription by e-mail, post and registration for conferences and courses.

The Personal Data Act (1998:204) (PuL) contains provisions on how personal data may be processed. Read more about the Act on the website of the Swedish Data Inspection Board
