IHE website privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to all websites on ihe.se. The Swedish Institute for Health Economics AB (IHE) is responsible for processing of personal data collected from, or that can be found on the website. This also applies to personal data collected through agreements for products, services and activities organized by IHE. In addition to the specified processing of personal data, IHE also conducts processing that is necessary / compulsory for complying with applicable laws, regulations and any governmental legislation.

How do we collect information?

IHE only collects and processes personal information relevant to the specified purposes. It is optional to provide this information. If you choose not to provide personal information, IHE may be prevented from giving you access to certain products, services or activities organized / provided by IHE.

  • When registering for meetings, courses and conferences organized by IHE
  • Upon notification to receive the IHE newsletter by e-mail
  • When purchasing services or products
  • Upon request / contact via e-mail about products, services or activities organized / provided by IHE

Employee personal data and personal data that appear in connection with activities, services or products provided by IHE are obtained through consent. It is voluntary to give consent. IHE may be prevented from giving you access to information where consent has not been given.

Purpose of information gathered

The purpose of collecting personal data is to:

  • IHE is able to arrange, administer and conduct its own activities
  • be able to send information about IHE, IHE’s products, services and activities organized by IHE newsletters
  • Provide access to IHE’s products and services

Legal basis for processing personal data

In order to process personal data, there must be support in current data protection regulations, a so-called legal basis. This means that in order for IHE’s processing to be legal it is commanded that it is required to fulfill an agreement with you, to fulfill legal obligations, required for the protection of interests of fundamental importance or because the processing is necessary to perform a task of public interest or public authority. Personal data can also be processed if there is consent.

How is the information stored?

Personal data obtained through forms on ihe.se are stored in IHE’s CMS system for the website and  in addition in a register with IHE for the activity in question. Personal data is only saved as long as it is required for administration and implementation.

Personal data collected for subscription to the newsletter is stored with a subcontractor to IHE. The data is only saved while the subscription is ongoing.

For inquiries / contacts via e-mail, data is stored in the IHE e-mail system and only as long as considered required.

Invoice documentation is stored in accordance with current legislation.

How is information removed?

After activity organized by IHE, data collected from IHE’s CMS system and IHE’s e-mail system, will be deleted.

Unsubscribing to the IHE newsletter is made via a direct link in the newsletter of the subscriber and the subscriber is automatically removed.

The personal data processed to provide access to IHE’s products and services is erased after execution or delivery of product / service.

Deletion of invoice documentation upon payment for activities, products and services organized by IHE complies with current legislation.

Disclosure of information to third parties?

IHE does not share personal data to third parties, but IHE may use subcontractors to deliver all or part of the webbsite services. Such subcontractors may process personal data on behalf of IHE. IHE secures personal data and rights through personal data agreement with subcontractors.

Rights

As a user of the IHE website, ihe.se, you have the right to access your information, to correct them or, in some cases, delete them. You also have the right to restrict or oppose any processing of your personal information. You are also entitled to receive a copy of your information. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact IHE in writing. You also have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority that supervises personal data processing if you find that IHE does not comply with your rights or violates the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679.

Use of cookies by the IHE

IHE’s website may use cookies to enhance user experience. Some of the cookies are essential for the site to operate. Users may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert them when cookies are being sent. If they do so, it should be noted that some parts of the website may not function properly.

IHE do not control the content or links to third parties that appear on the website and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from the website. IHE may revise this policy at any time by amending this page. Your continued use of the site constitutes your acceptance of any such revised terms.  Some of the provisions contained in this policy may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the site.
