Košir Urška

Research Manager

Urška Košir is an expert in adolescent and young adult (AYA) oncology services and cancer policy. Her work focuses on health literacy, mental health, and the integration of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) into cancer care. She has led work within large European consortia, as well as industry-led projects. Her expertise includes quantitative and qualitative research, evidence synthesis, and broad stakeholder engagement.

Urška plays an active role in shaping cancer policy and health literacy strategies across Europe and remains a patient advocate with Youth Cancer Europe. Previously, she worked as an expert reviewer for the European Commission, advised the Council of Europe and the Slovenian Ministry of Health. She is also a former lecturer at the University of Oxford’s Department of Experimental Psychology.
