New IHE Report on the value of broad and early genomic profiling in Swedish cancer care

New diagnostic methods now make it possible to tailor targeted treatments depending on the genomic profile expressed by the tumor in people with cancer. In lung cancer, there are over 10 different targeted treatments. Work is currently underway to identify people with other cancers who may benefit from targeted therapies. In this analysis, we estimate the cost-effectiveness of introducing and using broad gene panels in people with breast cancer.
