IHE presents at lung cancer conference in Bangkok

The ASPIRE Regional Summit brought together policymakers, clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, and industry partners from across Asia Pacific to accelerate translation of the ASPIRE White Paper on Lung Cancer into action and implementation at the local country level.

Thomas Hofmarcher presented on IHE’s work to develop a dashboard-style framework with measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) to support policy implementation and improvement in lung cancer care. He provided an overview of the global KPI framework which will be presented at the World Health Assembly in May 2026. Local application of the framework is currently being piloted in a small number of countries, including in Malaysia.
