New publication on the association between non-motor symptoms and costs in Parkinson’s disease

A new study based on Swedish registry data shows that non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease significantly increase healthcare costs. The findings highlight the need for a comprehensive approach to care that addresses both motor and non-motor symptoms in order to reduce the burden of the disease for patients and society.
