Willers Carl

Carl is a licensed physician and health economist and has published nearly twenty scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has experience in clinical medicine, research, and management and strategy consulting, including several projects focused on healthcare organization, performance management, and reimbursement models.

Carl received his PhD from Karolinska Institutet in 2019. His previous research includes register-based studies of health equity regarding healthcare resource use and health outcomes. More recent studies include mapping healthcare and social care pathways for geriatric patients across regional and municipal care.

Education: PhD and MD, Karolinska Institutet; licensed physician; BSc in Economics, Stockholm School of Economics. Additional coursework at Stockholm University and Harvard Business School.
