Blueprint to Close the Women’s Health Gap: How to Improve Lives and Economies for All
New research by the World Economic Forum and McKinsey Health Institute finds that 9 health conditions account for 1/3 of the women’s health gap, and addressing these could unlock a staggering $400bn in global GDP by 2040. One of the 9 conditions is breast cancer. IHE contributed with our expertise in this area to the report.
The report finds that women are being left behind due to gaps in data and understanding. As part of the report, the Women’s Health Impact Tracking Platform was launched. This is a tool that provides standardized, actionable metrics to uncover and address disparities across these 9 conditions.
