IHE shares experiences with lung cancer screening in Dubai

IHE’s Thomas Hofmarcher recently traveled to Dubai to present at the conference “Roadmap of Lung Cancer Prevention Program”, organized by the UAE MOHAP and MSD. More and more countries are looking to implement lung cancer screening programs, and the UAE is no exception.

At the conference national and international experts exchanged ideas and experiences. Thomas shared international experiences of implementing lung cancer screening programs. He presented IHE’s research on the cost-effectiveness of such programs and ideas for relevant KPIs for monitoring and evaluation.
