Policy and preferences

At IHE, we have long standing experience in preference methods both directed towards patients and the general public. Methods we employ include quality of life instruments, willingness-to-pay studies, time-trade off, standard gamble measurements and discrete choice experiments. We have estimated the value of a statistical life (VSL) within the transport sector and have performed multiple studies on the value of a QALY. We have also conducted studies contrasting different patient preference methods.
