IHE presents about national cancer plans in Saudi Arabia
National Cancer Control Programs (NCCPs) are recognized by the WHO as the gold standard for reducing cancer incidence and mortality in a strategic way. Saudi Arabia is a country working to update its NCCP in 2025. At a workshop with local experts and international speakers from IARC and UICC in Riyadh, IHE’s Thomas Hofmarcher shared international experiences on the impact of NCCPs on public health.
