IHE presents at the Adriatic Congress of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research
At the 14th Adriatic Congress of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, held in Brijuni (Croatia) on 23–25 April, Thomas Hofmarcher and Urška Kosir were contributing to key discussions on how to translate evidence into better patient access across Central and Eastern Europe.
Thomas presented around the question “Are we investing enough in cancer care – and does it pay off?” based on the example of Croatia and the recent IHE Cancer Dashboard and joined a panel discussion in the session “From Burden to Breakthroughs: Optimizing Cancer Care Through Policy and Personalized Therapies”.
Urška co-led a workshop together with Spencer Connell and Slaveyko Djambazov about patient-reported outcomes (PROMs). It explored how Standard Sets by the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) can be translated from concept to real-world implementation, and ultimately used to strengthen economic evaluation, social value assessment, and investment decision-making.
