How does the performance of cancer care in Greece compare to the rest of Europe and how can it become even better? This dashboard-style report provides a visual and quantitative description of selected performance indicators in all areas of cancer care.

For every indicator, the dashboard reviews the current status quo, recent policy initiatives, and recommendations. The purpose of the dashboard is to support the development of a national cancer strategy and to highlight the importance of measuring and comparing a country’s performance in all areas of cancer care with pre-defined goals.

Dr. Zenia Saridaki, president of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), and George Kapetanakis, president of the Hellenic Cancer Federation (ELLOK), have provided crucial insights during the development of the dashboard.

The dashboard was publicly presented at the Panhellenic Conference on Health Economics and Policy in Athens in December 2024.
