IHE joins Europa Donna in the European Parliament

On 15 October, Europa Donna – The European Breast Cancer Coalition organized an event at the European Parliament to present a motion declaring 15 October as European Breast Health Day. The event hosted by MEPs Romana Jerković and Nicholas Papandreou brought together EU policymakers – including European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and former European Commissioner for Health Stella Kyriakides – and experts from the European Commission and the OECD to highlight the importance of prevention, early detection, and equitable access to care. Thomas Hofmarcher contributed by presenting IHE’s work on the cost-effectiveness of early detection strategies in breast cancer.
