New policy report about endometrial cancer
Some 90% of all cancers originating in the body of the uterus (corpus uteri) are classified as endometrial cancer. It is the most common gynecological cancer in Europe and Northern America. Yet it receives less attention in the public discourse on cancer than cervical cancer and ovarian cancer.
This report will provide a broad overview of the characteristics of endometrial cancer, the disease and economic burden, and the care process and challenges encountered by women.
