IHE presents at FOKUS Patient – Future Days 2026

FOKUS Patient and Penilla Gunther arranged the conference Future Days 2026, March 16-17  in Stockholm to discuss with national and international experts the challenges patients and society face from different diseases.

Thomas Hofmarcher got the chance to present the IHE Cancer Comparator Report, where he provided a comparison between cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

A lot of political focus is being put on these two diseases in both Sweden and the EU, with the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan and the updated Swedish national cancer strategy as well as the EU Safe Hearts Plan and the upcoming Swedish national CVD strategy.
