IHE presents in the Congress of Peru

IHE’s Thomas Hofmarcher had the great honor of presenting research results in the Congress of Peru (the country’s unicameral parliament) in Lima at a meeting of congressmen on May 20, 2024. He shared the Peruvian results of the IHE report 2024:4 “Improving outcomes for women with triple-negative breast cancer in Latin America – An extended analysis” which is written together with our Mexican analyst Andrea Manzano.

The congressmen showed much interest of getting a new, comparative perspective on breast cancer care in Peru. Thomas also presented the same research at a meeting with the vice-health minister and directors of the Ministry of Health (MINSA) as well as meetings with civil society organizations and media outlets.
