New Cancer Dashboard for Portugal

How good is cancer care in Portugal compared to other EU countries and what can be improved? This dashboard-style report provides a visual and quantitative description of selected performance indicators in all areas of cancer care. It also highlights the importance of measuring and comparing a country’s performance in all areas of cancer care with pre-defined goals and it gives evidence-based recommendations to improve cancer care.

The purpose of the dashboard is to encourage the implementation of the National Cancer Control Strategy (NCCS 2030) as well as other ongoing initiatives to improve cancer care in Portugal.
