IHE presents in the parliament of Chile

IHE’s Thomas Hofmarcher had the great honor of presenting research results in the Senate of Chile (the upper house of the parliament) at a meeting of the senators in the Health Commission on November 29, 2023.

Thomas presented the results of the IHE report 2023:6 “Improving outcomes for women with triple-negative breast cancer in Latin America” which is written together with our Mexican analyst Andrea Manzano. The senators proved receptive to the research results and an outside perspective on breast cancer care in Chile.

Thomas also presented the same research results at the Universidad Andres Bello (UNAB) in Santiago and at an event organized by the patient organization Fundación Cáncer Vida.
